Soccer practices out the wazoo. Basketball games, camps. Track. Play dates. Sleep overs. Football practices. Soccer camp. Therapy appointments.
I am a taxi service.
And I have a lot of things I am excited to write about, but before another WWW Wednesday passed, I’d like to post about one of my favorite past times.
Reading!
The Three W’s for WWW Wednesday are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading The Life she was Given by Ellen Marie Wiseman. Whenever I see my friend, we usually have a pile of books for the other to read. And this is how I came upon this book – friend recommendation! She said it was good in the story department. And so far, I agree! I am entertained.
What did you recently finish reading?
Since my last post I finished a few.
First, I finished The Leavers by Lisa Ko. I really enjoyed this book, gave it a 4 star rating and would recommend the book to
others.
Then I read Fortune Smiles by Adam Johnson. I chose this book because I loved the book The Orphan Master’s Son that Johnson wrote (which is also in my top 10 books). This book is also a collection of stories. And they are all great. But one stands out in my opinion. “Interesting Facts.” If you get a chance to read any of these stories, I would recommend that one the most – wow!
Then I read Great House by Nicole Krauss.
This book followed one piece of furniture through time – a massive desk.
Four different stories, four different families, relationships, four different timelines – yet some stories intersect. Interesting read!
What do you think you’ll read next?
My nightstand is on constant rotation. Right now, these are the books on deck. So – unless someone hands me a different book, my next book will be one of these.
Thank you Sam at Taking on a World of Words for continuing with WWW Wednesday – I really enjoy to share and to read what others are reading!
I’m reading a book on the science of categorization; so, by comparison, every other book seems exciting…
Hahaha….I think so too 🙂
I cant remember the last book I finished, but right now I am reading Once Upon a Farm by Rory Feek. I am actually searching the library to see what I want to read next.
That’s great! I love starting a new book 🙂
Very impressive that a mother of three with as much going as you do can still make time to read! You go, Reading Robyn!!!
Thanks, Jeff! My husband usually gets home around 7 – which is when I say “Momma’s out!” and go hide out somewhere with a book until bedtime 🙂
That’s a good man!
